CHECKING IN

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sorry no early check in unless prior arrangements have been amde. If you will be arriving after hours please call the rental office at 1-877-725-9501 to make arrangements.

The person who reserved the condo must be the person to check in.

Rental Payment is due at check in. Payments may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Cash, Check, Money Order and Travelers checks. (The deposit is not part of the rent.)

CHECKING OUT

Check out time is at 10:00 a.m. There is a minimum charge of $25.00 for any late checkout. Refunds are not given for early departures.

Please leave the condo in good condition.  The cleaners will charge additional fees for extra laundry and excessive cleaning.

At check out, please return all keys to the office. In the event the office is closed please drop the keys through the slot in the office door. There is a minimum of a $5.00 charge for each unreturned door key and a charge of $25.00 each unreturned mailbox key.

CONDOS

Ocean House cannot guarantee a specific unit. Some things are beyond our control, if a problem with a rental should occur, such as flood, fire, etc. with the unit reserved, Ocean House will provide guests with a comparable rental and notify the guests immediately.

All rentals are fully furnished and equipped for your stay. However guests are responsible for their own personal supplies.

DIRECTIONS

Ocean House Condominium is located on Crescent Beach directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  To get to Ocean House you will need to take Exit 305 from Florida’s Interstate I-95 (This is the Cresscent Beach & Marineland exit).  This exit will take you onto State Road 206. Once you are on State Road 206 you will need to go East for about 5 miles, you will be passing U.S. 1 and driving over the Bridge, after the Bridge you will come to a red light where 206 dead ends, at this red light you will need to turn right onto A1A, from here you will drive two miles south until you see Ocean House Condominium on the left.  The address is 7870 A1A South.

ELEVATORS & STAIRWELLS

There is an elevator located on the North and South side of the building.  In the event of a power outage the North elevator will run by the generator.

Stairwells are located on each floor, on the west side of the building next to the elevator and on the north side of the building at the end of each hall.

GUESTS

All guests must register with the office.

The maximum guests permitted in a 2 bedroom unit are (6) six & 3 bedroom unit are (8) eight. 

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent a condo. Under age children are not permitted to stay overnight without the supervision of an adult at least 25 years of age. If this occurs the rental will be terminated with no refund.

GENERAL RULES

Safety considerations require no running or playing in hallways, lobbies or elevators. Sidewalks, stairwells and hallways must be kept clear and unobstructed at all times.

Activities such as: Bicycling, skating, kite flying, pitch & catch, football, etc. are for the beach only and are not permitted in the court yard, parking lot or pool area.

Quiet time is from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am.However polite consideration of noise levels should be given at all times – indoors and at pool side.

Do not hang any objects from railing or balcony. Do not throw debris or any other objects from balcony.

Absolutely no smoking in the condos, lobbies, hallways, stairwells, or elevators. (State Law).

Refuse considerations: Securely tie trash in plastic bags and remove regularly to dumpster. Do not litter or throw debris or cigarettes anywhere on the premises, utilize trash cans and ashtrays. The dumpster is located no the north side of the parking lot, the recycle bins are located directly next to the dumpster.

Kitchen garbage disposal and drains must not be used for grease, bones, fish cleaning, corn shucks, etc.

Grills and deep fryers are not permitted on patio, balconies or court yard.  The condo does provide 2 gas grills for your convenience.

State Law prohibits anyone from going into the sand dunes.

HURRICANE OR NATURAL DIASTER

In the event of a direct hurricane or natural disaster, reservations must be canceled and guests will receive a full deposit refund.

All guests who are renting at the time and must leave will receive a refund for the nights that you were unable to stay.

INTERNET SERVICE

Most condos are not set up for internet service.  Unless specified, the condo does not have internet service; however you may be able to get dial up through the telephone line. 

Wireless internet service is currently available in the south ground floor lobby.

ITEMS YOU MAY NEED TO BRING

All rentals are fully furnished and equipped for your stay. However guests are responsible for their own personal supplies.

The following are a few items not provided that you may need to bring:

Paper Towels
Coffee Filters
Salt, Pepper and spices.
Dishwashing Detergent (All rentals have dishwashers)
Clothes Detergent
Trash Bags (1 per waste basket provided)
Soap (1 per bathroom provided)
Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom provided.)
Beach Towels
Beach Chairs
Sunblock and lotion.

LAUNDRY ROOMS

There are laundry rooms on each floor next to the elevators. The current cost is $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry.  There is no change machine or vending machines.

Quarters are usually available at the office.

LUGGAGE CARTS

There are luggage carts available on the ground floor lobby, luggage carts must be returned immediately after use.

MAKING A RESERVATION

If you would like to make a reservation we will need the following information by phone or e-mail. Condo number, Check in Date, Checkout Date, Name, Mailing Address, Telephone Number, Number of Adults and Number of Children.

Once you make your reservation a confirmation letter will be mailed or e-mailed to you at the address you provided.

Please note the following information:
* You must be over 25 years of age.
* Pets are not permitted.
* The maximum amount of guests permitted in a 2 bedroom condo is 6 guests.
* The maximum amount of guests permitted in a 3 bedroom condo is 8 guests.
* Credit cards are not accepted for security deposit. However we do accept Visa, Mastercard, cash, checks, money orders and traveler checks. (Credit cards can be used at check in to pay for rental only.)

The security deposit is $300.00 for weekly rentals and $500.00 for monthly rentals. This deposit is due within 15 days of reservation and is refunded within 15 days of departure, providing there are no damages. Our cancellation policy is 30 days in advance on weekly rentals and 90 days in advance for monthly rentals to receive a full deposit refund.

NOISE

Polite consideration for noise levels should be given at all times-indoors, outside and pool area.

Music or radios are not to be played on patios, balconies, in court yard or at pool.

Excessive noise, boisterous partying or any destruction to property or surrounding areas will not be tolerated and will result in eviction with no refund and possible loss of security deposit.Quiet time should be observed after 10 p.m.

OCCUPANCY

Occupancy in a two-bedroom unit may not exceed 4-6 people; three-bedroom unit maximum is 6-8 people. Exceeding the noted maximum sleeping capacity will cause termination of rental forfeiture of rent paid.

OFFICE HOURS

Office Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the office is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.  After hour emergency numbers are posted.

OUT DOOR GRILLS

After using the outdoor grills please make sure that you turn the gas off and leave the grills clean and cover when cooled.

PARKING

Arrangements must be made with the Manager for parking a camper, trailer or boat.

Please move vehicles to parking spaces after unloading do not block the car-wash or trash collection areas.

Limited handicap spaces are available.

PAYMENT

Payment for your rental is due at check in. Payment may be made with a Credit card, check, cash, money order or travelers check.Sorry we only accept Visa & Mastercard.

PETS

Pets are not permitted and will cause immediate eviction with no refunds.

PUTTING GREEN

There is a putting green located in the court yard.  Golf clubs and balls are not provided.  Children must be supervised and are not permitted to play in the area.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

Security deposits are due within 15 days from the date your reservation was made. If your security deposit is not received your reservation will be canceled. (Sorry, we cannot accpet credit cards for the security deposit.)

Security deposits are not part of the rent and will be refunded within 15 days after departure, in the event there are no damages or missing items or excessive cleaning in the rental caused by you or your guest.

If you choose to cancel your reservation, your security deposit will be refunded providing you cancel your reservation within 30 days for weekly rentals and within 60 days for monthly rentals.There is a nonrefundable $25.00 cancellation fee.

SECURED ENTRANCES

All doors of the condominium require a number combination to enter into the building.

SMOKING

Smoking inside the condos or inside the building is not permitted. Guests are welcome to smoke outside on the patio/balcony areas. Smoking inside of any rental will result in a mininium $50.00 charge and possible forfeit of security deposit.

SPECIALS AND DISCOUNTS

Sometimes condo owners will offer specials on their condos.

Management can not give any type of discount or offer any specials, unless directed by the Owner or the Board of Directors of Ocean House.

SWIMMING POOL

The swimming pool hours are 9:00 am to 9:30 pm.

No lifeguard present at any time.Swim at own risk.

Obey posted rules at pool side.

Children under twelve (12) must be supervised by an adult when in pool area.

Diapers are not permitted in the pool. Special swimming pants must be worn.

Baby floats only.  Large floats, boogie boards, etc. are not permitted in the pool.

No diving or running in the pool area.

Safety first! No glass containers of any kind in pool and or courtyard.

Food is not permitted in the pool area.

Shower before entering the pool.

No Diapers in pool.

TELEPHONES

Telephones are provided in each condo, local calls are free.  You must use a calling card or credit card to make long distance calls.

Please note that there is no switch board, each condo has a private phone and individual telephone number.

The telephone number to the condo is provided on the rental confirmation.

WIRELESS INTERNET

Wireless internet is currently available in the south ground floor lobby.
